Huifeng Su [hway-fong soo] [苏汇丰]

PhD Candidate in Operations | Yale School of Management

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Operations at Yale School of Management, where I am fortunate to be co-advised by Prof. Lesley Meng and Prof. Edieal J. Pinker.

Leveraging structured and unstructured data, my research focuses on improving and evaluating the efficiency, quality, and equity of essential health and human services (HHS). I adapt causal inference and machine learning methods to specific operational contexts to generate actionable insights.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I studied Industrial & Systems Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where my work with the Quality & Safety Improvement Lab and the Analytics for Human Development Lab sparked my research interests.

I’m joining Minnesota Carlson as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Supply Chain & Operations in Fall 2026 :)
